Australia is a vibrant, multicultural country. We are home to the world’s oldest continuous culture. Many of us have always known Australia is a successful multicultural nation but now we can boast about the fact that Australia is the most ethnically diverse country in the world.

Australia is an immigration nation. Almost half of our current population was either born overseas or has at least one parent born overseas. And we come from every culture, every race, every faith, every nation.

Multiculturalism is the practice of giving equal attention to many different backgrounds in a particular setting.
